Our congregation was founded in December 2015 in response to the LDS Church’s Exclusion Policy, which denied church ordinances to children of same-sex couples. Community of Christ offers full membership to LGBTQIA+ people and their families. This means full participation in all sacraments, including marriage and ordination. In Southern Utah Community of Christ, we extend extravagant welcome to all, including LGBTQIA+ individuals. We are committed to working within the broader community to further social justice.
